Bohemian Symphony Orchestra Prague was based in Prague in 2000 by its contemporary director Martin Šanda. The high professional level of all musicians from orchestra is a quality garantee and good sound level, perfect plasticity and garantee of high touch level. The orchestra has very large repertoir and it interprets the most difficult opuses which were composed for symphonic orchestra. 

The basic formation forms 70 musicians, but more musicians are possible as necessary for making big symphonical pieces, however in this „small“ formation well-kept high interpretional level and perfect sound of orchestra.  The orchestra cooperates with well-known instrumentalists and vocal soloists  and choirs (Bohemian Choir Prague).

Bohemian Symphony Orchestra Prague performed in very succesfull tours in most of European countries: Italy, Germany, Spain, France, Swiss, Japan, China,  etc.

Except symphonical pieces Bohemian Symphony Orchestra Prague puts brain to spiritual and church music.

            In January 2007 Bohemian Symphony Orchestra Prague made concert tour with 8 concerts through Spain(Madrid, Alicante, Cordoba, San Sebastian)  and to this tour took up again in October 2007 (Vigo, Gijón, Logrono). In November the orchestra was invited Festival Cantelli - Novara in nothern Italy.

            In December  2007 Bohemian Symphony Orchestra Prague participated in the concert in case of newborn CD under the chief conductor Young Chil Lee (South Korea) in Theatre Hybernia Prague.

            In May 2008 the Bohemian Symphony Orchestra Prague made Concert tour in Holland, with young pianist Anna Fedorova, which was finished with very successful concert in Amsterdam in Het Concertgebow with Japanese Legend of Mozart Choir and conductor Yasuhiko Daimon (Japan), with program W.A.Mozart:, Koncert for piano and orchestra A dur K.488 (without conductor), Requiem d moll K.626.

            In the second half of June 2008 the orchestra participated in the performance in case of newborn CD under the chief conductor Young Chil Lee (South Korea) in Národní dům na Vinohradech – Majakovského Hall, with international soloists (Philippe Pierlot – France, Youngmi Kim, Sook Jung Lee – South Korea)

            Since July 2008 Bohemian Symphony Orchestra Prague cooperated with Chamber Opera Prague.

    In August 2008 Bohemian Symphony Orchestra Prague made Festival concerts in Ohrid (Makedonia) and Kotor (Montenegro) together with Young Chil Lee and Koreian violoncellist Young Chang Cho. (A.Dvořák – Symfonie 9 „Novosvětská“, Concert for violoncello and orchestra, Slavonic dance 8).

    In September and October 2008 the Bohemian Symphony Orchestra Prague with Chamber Opera Prague was in concert tour of Japan (Tokyo, Hiroshima, Nagasaki, Yokohama, Okaya,....).

            Bohemian Symphony Orchestra Prague has made a recording of many records too. Among the most successful CD belongs Music Jewels of Prague. Music Jewels of Prague is the best one from the music dedicated to Bohemia. The names like Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart or Bedřich Smetana are world-famous known, in the same way their music genius. Compositions, which are recorded on this CD have been chosen with the most curiousness and including art styles from baroque till romanticism. Among others Bohemian Symphony Orchestra Prague has also recorded a large number of so-called consumer`s music as publicity theme gong and moovie spots. This orchestra has taped the music to many czech moovies.

In January 2009 orchestr made New Year´s tour in Holland together with international soloists and conductor Jeroen Weierink.

Among last successes are CD 22 Iveta Bartošova,the orchestra participated and than the music for czech movie Veni, vidi, vici produced by Metropolitanfilm (directed by Pavel Göbl, dramaturgy Radek John) - premiér 7.5.2009 and movie 3 seasons in Hell produced by Dawson film (directed by Tomáš Mašín) – premiér 9.11.2009. Next, exclusive tour with group Corvus Corax (Leipzik, Berlin, Hamburg, Dresden) in a cooperation with Passionata Chor Berlin and conductor Bernard Fabuljan.

In October the orchestra and Corvus Corax recorded the soundrack to new computer game Dragon Age – (Bioware, EA Games) and performed together with The golden voice of Gospel (cooperation with Michael Jackson) in the Wiener Konzerthaus in a gala show „I got rhythm“.

In November the orchestra recorded Christmas CD Iveta Bartošova „When the silence sings“

In January 2010 the orchestra made exclusive tour in Germany and Switzerland Rock meets Classic 2010 together with leaders of groups  Nazareth - Dan McCafferty, Toto - Bobby Kimball and Foreigner - Lou Gramm.
